Small-Group Travel for People in Personal Recovery
Travel. Connection.Life in Recovery.
The destination and the experience come first: boutique stays, curated days, and a group small enough that everyone knows each other by the second morning.
Not a retreat. Not treatment. A great vacation with the right people.

Connection doesn't have to end after treatment.
Lucent Recovery Travel designs small-group luxury trips for people in personal recovery, where the destination and experience come first. Connection doesn't have to end after treatment.
This is a chance to travel, adventure, and build real relationships with people who understand the journey, while learning to be out in the world without alcohol at the center of the experience.
What Makes It Different
Experience-focused
The destination and trip are worth traveling for on their own.
Recovery-informed
No group pressure to drink, and a dedicated Soberlife-Coach CASAC travels with everyone, while still being out in the real world where alcohol exists.
Small + elevated
Boutique accommodations, curated experiences, and a limited group size, typically 10–12 travelers, that encourage real connection.
Professionally planned
Thoughtfully managed from start to finish. No meetings, no therapy, no required programming.
Recovery is what brings the group together. It doesn't have to be what they talk about all week.

Ashley Johnson
Founder & Head Advisor, Lucent Travel Co.
Ashley brings the travel side of Lucent Recovery Travel, including destination design, boutique accommodations, trusted local partners, logistics, traveler communication, and on-trip hosting.
The idea for Lucent Recovery Travel grew in part from Ashley's own experience in recovery and the meaningful connections she saw form within that community. She wanted to create a way for those connections to continue through travel, without turning the trip itself into a recovery program.
Karen Vitale
